Origin of MiCayla

So, I’ve checked a lot of sites to find out what MiCayla meant. The main one I found was:

Variant of Michaela-Hebrew for “Who is like the Lord?”

There are so many ways to spell my name, too. I love my name but i really don’t like what it means! Mainly because im Atheist, but also because i wanted it to be a cool origin.:(

my middle name, Cynthia, is my mom’s name, and I was told that it meant godess of the moon. This is what i got from a website:

Short Stories- Comparisons

In English Class, we read “Mirror Image” and “The Prospector’s Trail”, although I liked “Mirror Image” much better.

Mirror Image was a story about a teen girl, Alice, who was in an accident and had her brain transplanted into another-previously deceased-girl’s body. This story was very interesting, in the way that I could relate to her. I don’t mean that I had a brain transplant but how she is a teenager and is going through difficult times.  The way her sister, Jenny, reacts to her new body was not really what i was expecting. Although, Alice thinks Jenny is being unreasonable, it is understandable for Jenny to think that Alice is a different person even though it is the same brain. This story makes me think that if medical science ever became so advanced to the point where a brain transplant is actually possible, someone had gone too far. If this were possible no one would want to die, although, the lack of people dying would reduce the amount of bodies available. I think that at that point, the world would be a very messed up place. 

The Prospector’s Trail wasn’t very interesting. I liked how Norman changed into the person he wanted to be rather than staying as the person that Jennifer wanted. Norman is the only character who really evolves in this story, but it is for the better. I didn’t like this story very much, as it didn’t catch my interest, but it is a good story for analyzing, and answering question on.
